No sketch. No mold.
Only Glass, Fire & Emotions.
I founded JOLIPNJ in 2024, driven by a fascination with glass as a living material.
Working directly with the material keeps me from projecting an idea and forcing the glass to become that idea. I don’t sketch.
I start with an intention, then I enter into a dialogue with the material. The piece takes shape in 3D, inside the flame.
This process generates “accidents.” You have to know how to see them, let them exist, support them, amplify them. They bring renewal, strangeness, truth. It’s not a mental projection. It’s not something planned. The accident leads to the unexpected. The unexpected, to wonder.
It’s an exchange between my emotions, the molten glass, and the present.
This dialogue allows me to crystallize an instant into a form.
